Take a Christmas vacation without the station wagon or the annoying relatives at Jack Astor’s new Christmas Dive Bar pop-up only at Jack Astor’s Front Street location (144 Front St. W). Opening Friday, December 20 until further notice (i.e. way past December 25 and into 2020), guests in downtown Toronto can keep the Christmas spirit going every Wednesday – Saturday from 5pm to late.

Clark the herald angels drink – dive into the bar, seat your elf, and enjoy an exclusive quaff of rum and eggnog. Fire up the festive spirit with shots of Fireball beside the onsite firepit; marvel at more than 500 feet of lights, reindeer busts, and a rainbow tree; and un-belt and buckle up with a full dinner and drink menu.

You can even engage in the time-honoured tradition of passing on holiday junk you would never put up at home (BYOJunk) – donate décor or unwanted gifts to us and we’ll put them up in the bar, the gaudier the better.
