Invictus at Corktown Common Park

Toronto Outdoor Picture Show's Movies on the Common series will conclude on July 20th with Clint Eastwoods INVICTUS, based on the true story of Nelson Mandelas involvement in the South African national rugby teams world championship win in 1995, a historic and unifying moment for post-Apartheid South Africa. Preceding Invictus will be Syrian Eagles, a Toronto-made short film about a former Syrian soccer pro who now coaches a little league team of fellow newcomers in Toronto.
