Created in 2012 by Barbarito in the town of Cienfuegos, Cuba, the company works with young dance graduates in styles that make up the Cuban identity from traditional to contemporary dance. Barbarito himself has over 35 years experience working as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and director. He has represented the art of Cuban dance in Germany, Mexico, Haiti, Japan, Bulgaria and France.

The dancers will be accompanied by master percussionist Vicente Arrencibia and virtuoso tres (Cuban guitar) musician Adolfo ‘Fito’ Florian. Vicente grew up in Havana surrounded by Afro-Cuban music. He has toured all over the world performing traditional Cuban music and has collaborated with various artists from the majestic Colombian singer Totó la Momposina to legendary American-Panamanian drummer Billy Cobham. Fito comes from Guántanamo Province in the east of Cuba, home of Changuí music. He has recorded and performed with many Cuban musicians including David Alvarez and Pablo Milanes.
