Singin in the Rain is a musical-romantic comedy choreographed by and starring Gene Kelly opposite Debbie Reynolds. The film depicts Hollywood during the late 1920s, as studios transitioned from silent films to talkies. Matinee idol Don Lockwood Kelly is under pressure by studio heads to get romantically involved with his onscreen partner, Lina Lamont Jean Hagen. But Lockwood is falling for ingnue Kathy Seldon Reynolds who is under contract to dub songs for the shrill-voiced Lamont. Will Kathy be forever in Linas shadow? Experience the magic of this 1952 classic under the stars. Also stars Donald OConnor and Cyd Charisse.
