Female Eye Film Festival 2020

The Female Eye Film Festival (FeFF) celebrates its 18th edition March 5-8, 2020 to intersect with International Women’s Day at TIFF Bell Lightbox.

FeFF has been celebrating women directors on screen since 2001. Founded by filmmaker/ actress Leslie Ann Coles to address gender inequity. Under the stewardship of Coles, FeFF also provides mentorship to female youth and has produced and mentored 46 short films to date, 26 directed by Indigenous women and girls. In 2017, under a Creative Engagement Grant FeFF worked with students in Ste Sault Marie in an integrated arts workshop to address violence against Indigenous women. Our Canada Abroad initiative has showcased films by our National independent filmmakers at sister film festivals in Turkey, Armenia, Portugal, Chile...and we continue to grow our outreach.

We have suffered a short fall in funding for this up coming event at TIFF and we could use your help. We appreciate your support.
