2018/19 is a BIG season for FAWN, so we're eager to celebrate it!

In May 2019, we will be presenting our long awaited new opera Pandora: a triple composer opera-ballet we have been developing with Toronto-based librettist David James Brock and composers Joseph Glaser (Montreal),David Storen (Vancouver) and Kit Soden (Montreal). So that we can fully realize this opera, we are putting on a party at the Monarch Tavern to raise the remaining funds needed to bring this incredible collaborative project to life. We’re growing the repertoire of Canadian opera and classical music, and having a lot of fun doing it. Come by so we can show you what we're so excited about!

We LOVE a day party, so to get you up and moving, our friend and modular electronic music collaborator ACOTE (ensemble member for FAWN’s queer techno opera, Belladonna) is creating some new tracks with live vocals by soprano Rebecca Gray (FAWN team member), and using poetry by Brock, the librettist of our upcoming production.

Additional to some amazing performances, there will be lots of great raffle prizes to take home, including tickets to shows, an invitation to sit in on a staging rehearsal for FAWN’s upcoming production, a free dinner out (who doesn't like fee food?) and more.
