Efrim Manuel Menuck (Godspeed You! Black Emperor / Silver Mt. Zion) and Kevin Doria (Growing) return to Toronto in support of their first collaborative LP Sing Sinck, Sing out May 10th on Constellation. Touring over the last couple years in duo formation supporting Efrim's solo recordings Menuck & Doria have evolved their collaboration to the next level. Blossoming guitar and synth swells mingle with each other as nascent drones unfold. Menuck's vocals glow in their low-fi effected glory, as the layers of reverb slip away. Synth tones glisten in a dance with warbling electronics. Maximalist dronescapes buzz with melancholic energy as the duo weaves from one pulsating form to another.
