Dub Chronicles
The Dub Chronicles are a trio of brothers heavily inspired by the foundation artists of the 1970’s/80’s - the golden era of reggae. A vintage roots reggae instrumental sound in the stylings of King Tubby, Augustus Pablo, and Lee Scratch Perry; rooted in dub and blended with sparse flourishes of bebop jazz.
In this session the brothers will be featuring legendary Toronto foundation artists Carol Brown and Papa Levy in a rub a dub style.
And lending support on the turntables will be Wadada Rockers (Sunshine & Jahm Joule)
A dubwise night of roots rock reggae on the tuffest, hardest sound in the city. Trust us - nothing sounds like Dub Chronicles on the Higher Heights Hi-Fi System!!!
