Dark Day Monday 23 - It's Not Too Late
We’re rushing, we’re behind; there’s never enough time; I’ll never make it. The world keeps throwing buckets of “its too late” all over us. Guest Curator Amanda Cordner wants you to know IT’S NOT TOO LATE.
Dark Day Monday is a curated monthly performance series featuring artists who defy expectations and break boundaries. We seek out acts that explore, play, and fuck with performance forms or genres.
Line Up TBA Doors at 7:30pm, show at 8:00pm.
Dark Day Monday is focused on representing diverse performance talent from all genres and disciplines. We want to see something different. We prioritize featuring BIPOC and LGBTQAI+2S performers and content.
Burdock is two blocks west of the Dufferin TTC Station which is on the Bloor-Danforth subway line and the 29 Dufferin bus line. According to the TTC, the station is wheelchair accessible.
Unfortunately, there are no wheelchair accessible restrooms at Burdock as they are located in the venue’s basement, down a flight of stairs. The Music Hall and Burdock itself are on street level but there is a small step up from the street to enter the premises. However, the patio and patio door, located just a few feet from the front door on the Pauline Avenue side and which lead to the bar and music hall, are both accessible to folks with mobility devices.
