Comedy @ Cathedral

The Last Sunday of Every Month is Comedy @ Cathedral - TORONTO'S FUNNIEST HOUSE OF WORSHIP

November is known for its rain, its mustaches, and its lack of nuts. This November, let us make it known for COMEDY!

Brandon Zakkai is our host-

Brandon Zakkai is a comic and actor located in Toronto Ontario. Brandon has a unique perspective as an Iraqi and Iranian Jew, combining traditional Jewish humour with old school Arabic tradition.

Brandon is best known for his electric performances, bringing energy and excitement to crowds across Canada. His comedy combines absurdity, nonsense, wordplay and an eye for self deprecation.

Brandon is also an actor whose work can be seen on Netflix, YouTube, CBC, HBO and Amazon prime. He was been featured on Private Eyes, 12 Monkeys, Wayne, Fear Thy Neighbour, V-Wars, and Titans- just to name a few.

Harpreet Sehmbi

Harpreet is a Toronto-based comedian, writer, actor, and brunch enthusiast. She's an alumna of Second City Toronto's Longform Improvisation and Sketch Conservatory programs and regularly performs stand-up all over North America. She’s headlined Wisconsin's Lady Laughs Comedy Festival, Chicago Women's Funny Festival, and the Guelph Comedy Festival, and was featured in the North Carolina Comedy Festival, New York’s Very Big Very Asian Comedy Festival, and Toronto’s Wavelength Music Festival. Harpreet is a resident comic at Broadway Comedy Club and Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York.

Harpreet co-produces and hosts The Darjeelings of Comedy, showcasing South Asian female comedians, and The Anti-Token Comedy Show featuring comedians of colour. In August 2022, Harpreet released her debut comedy album, Irregular Harpbeat.

Keith Andrews

Keith Andrews was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He is the current host of "Comedy Night Tonight!" at Tonight Bar, the former co-host of the "Its Alive!!! Comedy Show", and part of the Yuk Yuks Rising Stars of Comedy Wednesdays. Keith has opened for Ian Sirota. Recently, he performed in the JFLToronto festival and was a finalist in the 420 Comedy competition. His comedic observations come from the perspective of an inept every-man, trying to do the right thing, often for the wrong reasons. Keith performs all over the GTA and surrounding Ontario.

Ronald Hae

Janice Israeloff

Janice regularly performs at Comedy Bar, Yuk Yuks, Levity, Absolute Comedy, Backroom, and is a staple in the Toronto comedy scene performing in bars, restaurants and at corporate events. She is a winner of the Harvey Atkins Comedy Competition and has also been featured in the Web series Not Working, as well as numerous commercials and independent films. Janice has written and performed 6 one person shows including her hit "One Flew Over the Cubicle" which she toured across the Canadian Fringe Festival circuit to rave reviews.

Dan Guiry

Dan Guiry was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. To his horror, Mr.Guiry came to realize that he was funny, maybe even hilarious. People's laughter has haunted him ever since his first day of school. It seems to follow him into the furthest reaches of this great country, no matter how far he travels the laughter will not stop.

Dan Guiry is set to become one of Canada's favourite musical comedy acts and it terrifies him. You can hear him on Sirius XM, APTN's Raven Tales, Netflix's Cabinet of Curiosities, or calling you from inside the house.
