TJFF presents the Canadian Premiere of Fire Dance, the first television series from the internationally-acclaimed filmmaker of Fill the Void and The Wedding Plan.

Fans of Shtisel will rejoice over this coming-of-age story of Feigi, a young, troubled woman in a tight-knit ultra-orthodox religious sect. She attaches her future happiness to Nathan, the married son of the leader of their community. After Nathan saves her life, Feigi grows dangerously close to him, at a time when he and his wife are expecting their first child. It is this delicate tension, between passion and fulfillment, set amongst the backdrop of a conservative, devout community in which Fire Dance exists.
