An Introduction to Mindfulness Through Movement and Meditation

Mindfulness can be an abstract concept, difficult to break down, and challenging to integrate into our lives in an effective way. This workshop aims to introduce mindfulness in a relatable way, to break down common misconceptions, and to have participants experience mindfulness through movement and meditation. We’ll spend time doing gentle movement with full awareness, time in meditation further connecting to the present moment, and time in discussion. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of mindfulness, experience the benefits for themselves through the practices, and feel the power of practicing within a community of others. Suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to refresh their mindfulness practice.
