The Upper Canada Repertory Company is proud to present this new and exciting adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass.” Presented at Dancemakers, 9 Trinity Street, Toronto from April 30 to May 3, 2014.
Once upon a time Alice went underground. The real underground, where society’s outcasts find a place to create a world of their own. Theories abound as to what 'Alice' is really about. Combining the texts of Lewis Carroll's two classic novels, our production explores interpretations both traditional and fantastical while remaining faithful to much of the original text. But there's more. Our adaption is also a new original musical built around an exceptional score made up of songs by award winning Canadian indie rockers. Blink, and it's gone. This limited initial engagement will only run April 30th-May 3rd, 2014.
