A Walk in the Park: Fall for Birds

Join us as we take a guided stroll through Downsview Park’s green spaces.

About this event

In response to COVID-19 changes to the program have been made to keep participants and staff as safe as possible. Participants and staff will be in small groups, not exceeding provincial regulations. All participants must preregister. We will no longer have a indoor component. We ask all participants to wear masks, and a health check in will be needed before attending all programs. Additional information will be sent to all program participants. If you have any questions about our COVID-19 policies, please contact us.

September 28, 2021: Fall for Birds

Each fall millions of migrating birds visit Toronto in search of food and shelter and safe passage. We will be visiting forests and fields, learning some birding basics and spending time in nature enjoying this annual fall feathered flurry. .__________________________________________________________________________________________

This program is for youth and adults (age 16+) and will take place on accessible pathways.

For families, Downsview Park offers two programs: Nature Connection and Jr. Forest Explorers. Please contact us at downsvieweducation@clc.ca before registering anyone under 16 years (except infants who are always welcome with a parent). Registration is required for all attendees.

Our Education programs are proudly sponsored by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
