A Family Tour

Introduced by Farida Deif, Canada Director at Human Rights Watch, A Family Tour tells the story of Yang Shu, a Chinese filmmaker who is forced to live in exile in Hong Kong after making a film that offended the Chinese government. This heartbreaking story highlights the dilemma of many Chinese citizens flying under the radar after leaving their country in protest or to flee persecution. Get your tickets today at tiff.net for A Family Tour’s (part of Human Rights Watch Film Festival) screening at TIFF Bell Lightbox on April 4, 2019.
