"The talent pool in Toronto runs pretty deep" -

"Monologue Slam is inspirational! If you ever need a reminder of the courage, joy, and love that goes into being an actor Monologue Slam is the place to go. I was genuinely moved by watching actors commit themselves body and soul to their monologues. It was done for no financial gain or strategic career moves. It was done because there was a need to share! And share they did! Go and see for yourself." - Lewis Baumander

"Being there makes actors hungry for the stage" - Zoe Georgaras, Actor

"One of the BEST monthly events in the city!! Such a great place for actors to be seen, and to test out new material. And what's key is that you're getting feedback from industry professionals who want to see you better your craft. If you have never been to a slam, you're doing yourself a disservice. And yes, it's a very competitive environment technically, but the atmosphere is very supportive and open." - Leighton Alexander Williams, Actor
