DineSafe Toronto Public Health

This week on DineSafe: Amaya, Copper Chimney, Indian Flavour, Jamrock Family Restaurant, Karbouzi, Mangia Mangia Mangia, Rabba, St. Louis

This week on Dinesafe, another two Toronto restaurants were deemed unfit to serve food. The first — Amaya Bread Bar — was closed after an inspection revealed a whopping 18 infractions, all of which amounted to "gross unsanitary conditions." Jamrock Family Restaurant and Bar was the other red-marked spot this week, found to be operating amidst a sewage backup, improper ventilation, and other alarming conditions. Indeed, Dinesafe can be one of the most terrifying websites on the Internet if you're fussy about hygiene.

Other, slightly less dire situations merited conditional passes handed out throughout the city, including a York University frequent offender, a downtown 24-hour grocery, and a chain spot for beer and wings. Here are some of the poor performers on Dinesafe this week.
