A first look at the CN Tower EdgeWalk (video)
The CN Tower EdgeWalk won't open until August 1st, but for those who can't wait to get a sense for what the experience will be like, there's always YouTube. Uploaded by the Canada Lands Company a few days ago, this brief clip shows some corporate types circumnavigating the tower's observation deck and a few of the views that those willing to shell out $175 will be treated to later this summer. Although a disclaimer below the clip points out that "the harnesses and construction in this video are not indicative of the final Edgewalk Attraction," it actually gives a pretty good idea of what one's likely to get up there on a sunny day: breathtaking views, a little wind, and not a whole lot of danger.
