Gallery Space: Circus and Myth

Nov. 17, 2006 - This week in the Gallery Space:

VAO Gallery (1153A Queen St W, next to Woolfitts) presents Fantastic Tales, new works by Kirstie Acton (seen on the right). These oil on canvas paintings explore myth, spirituality and inner vision. Opens tonight from 7-9pm and runs til Dec. 6th. Acton will be on hand tomorrow between 12-5pm as well.

The Museum of Contemporary Canadian Arts (952 Queen St W) presents Michael Snow's, *Corpus Callosum tonight. Doors open at 6:30, admission is $5 (free for MOCCA members) and the screening begins at 7pm. *Corpus Callosum runs 92 minutes.

64 Steps Gallery (1164 Queen St W) hosts DE JA VU by Juno Youn. Pictured above, this work is an abstracted watercolour exploration of the circus, in all its playful darkness. Exhibit opened yesterday but opening reception will be held Nov. 23rd from 7-10pm. Exhibit runs until Dec. 9th.
