Radar: B-Boys and Film Studs

Some events taking place this week in Toronto that have shown up on our radar.

ARTS: The Red Bull King of the Ring goes down tonight at 6pm in Liberty Village. 32 of the best break dancers in North America will battle for the King of the Ring title inside a boxing ring. Douglas Coupland reads from his new novel, jPod, at Walter Hall.

FILM: Up and coming film directors showcase their latest work at the Student Film Showcase at the Cumberland. May 24th, 7pm. Cinematheque Ontario's new season kicks off this Thursday.

CITY: Doors Open Toronto returns this weekend. The big launch is Friday night in conjunction with Humanitas.

MUSIC: Boo Williams at DeLeon White Gallery (1096 Queen West) tonight.
