Once dry, the Junction is now a craft brewing hub
It's hard to believe that the Junction was technically still a dry neighbourhood as late as 1997. There's thus a sweet bit of irony in the fact that it now serves as a crucial hub in Toronto's craft brewing renaissance. The recently opened Indie Alehouse draws beer lovers the city over, but it's not the only operation that gives the area craft-clout. Opened back in December, this brewery, tasting room and retail outlet is helping to make the Junction a hub for craft beer in Toronto.
