LG Fashion Week Opening Night
Fashion Week started with a bang last night. While it officially wasn't the first event of the week (that honour went to VAWK by Sunny Fong at the AGO), the opening night gala at the tents at King and Shaw was a major statement and hopefully a sign of the glamour, grace and good times yet to come. My Top 3 Fashion Week Secrets

1. Robin Kay Watch
After last year's drunken debacle and chaste apology, the golden grand dame of the FDCC is under a lot of scrutiny. So far, so good, even with the season's theme of "show love." At last night's Holt Renfrew industry cocktail party, Kay leaned in close to the microphone and put a lot of emphasis on the final part of her speech: "And especially, show love to each other." She seemed slightly slighted, not slurred or shaken, however. Lesson learned, I guess. When I raised a brow at her entrance, a colleague whispered, "I bet she's dry as a bone."

FW Poll #1: Will She or Won't She?
The polarizing figure that is Robin Kay is back for another Fashion Week. After her widely reported drunkfest in September, there was much speculation she wouldn't be asked to return by the Board. But Kay remains, and in the opinion of many, deserved another shot given she's more than capable (when sober rested) and basically built Toronto Fashion Week out of nothing.
But will Kay be on her best behaviour for the next six days? Or will a hectic schedule, the pressure of a new title sponsor and a revolving door of cocktail parties get the best of her? Vote below in the first of our daily Fashion Week polls.
