LOVAS Spring/Summer 2011
Wesley Badanjak doesn't make clothes for socialites, but I'm sure if they wanted it, he'd gladly welcome the new found clientele. What I find so fascinating about Badanjak is that he is not only a designer, but a savvy business man. Where some designers waiver to find a voice or a customer, there is no mistake that Badanjak knows the woman who wants the Lovas look.

LOVAS at Toronto Fashion Week
LOVAS' Wesley Badanjak will make you feel like a woman - he'll hug your curves, show off your assets and you'll never turn back. Who better to serve as his muse than his paternal grandmother - likely held high on a pedestal, this woman inspired one of the most well composed collections of the week.Grape was the standout colour of the day, adding richness and sophistication to double knit dresses. Just look at the tailoring - an emphasis on figure showcased impeccable craftsmanship. Grape also coloured a silk charmeuse Cici shirt that inspired one of the most confident model walks of the week. No wobble, all throttle.
Winter whites took us to cleaner pastures. 'Wanda' and 'Marla' jackets were creamy and rich, constructed beautifully to form a slim silhouette. They fit like a glove - a perfect way to start the show.
Tell me more, Wesley. What do women want?

Is Wesley Badanjak (LOVAS) Obsessed With Shirtless Guys and Girls on Bikes?
Wesley Badanjak didn't hold back from his LOVAS runway show. Either he was trying to keep up with the action from Day 2, or this guys loves his shirtless guys and mopeds. Here are my photos from his latest collection.
