Jason Meyers Goes from Project Runway to the Toronto Fashion Week Runway, with Fist Pumps

Jason Meyers, the Project Runway Canada competitor, definitely has his naysayers in the Canadian fashion world: there were several magazine editors and local fashion peeps like Adrian Mainella Twittering about last night's collection's similarity to recent runway shows (including Jil Sander) and general mediocrity, and a few post-show giggles at the designer's trademark sunglasses-and-dangly-earrings look and triumphant fist-pumping at his presentation's conclusion.

But, regardless of what the haters had to say about Meyers, there were a few good pieces in his collection that shows his growth since his stint on Project Runway Canada.
