The Heart Truth fashion show yesterday brought with it quite the media circus for such an early show. Various Toronto "celebrities" were spread across the front lines to catch sight of some Canadian darlings sporting designer dresses in support of the Canadian Heart and Stroke foundation. I spy Rick Campanelli, Lainey Gossip and some others who are papp fodder - I didn't recognize their faces, but someone thinks they are important. Mr. Intercom himself relays a message that former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson is in the house but I couldn't spot her. Oh well.

On a much more enthusiastic note, The Heart Truth show has become a recurring event at Toronto Fashion Week - Canadian designers team with a celebrity to design the perfect red dress.

There were plenty of familiar faces walking down the runway at Tuesday night's Heart Truth fashion show (photos here) We were there with a video camera and also caught up back stage with 11 of the fabulous women who participated. Tuesday's runway shows concluded with the Heart and Stroke Foundation's Heart Truth Fashion Show. Designed to raise awareness of women's cardiovascular health issues, the models took a break for this one. Instead, a number of Canadian celebrities took to the runway, fitted with a unique red outfits by the designers featured at Fashion Week.

My favourite moment of the show was Jessica Holmes making a point of reminding everyone that, despite having recently given birth to her second child, she still looked great.
