The official after party for LG Fashion Week was at Muzik, though, a series of bad vibes and verbal thumbs-down expressions from most people I spoke to throughout the week didn't exactly make me want to go. So I skipped it and checked out the Burroughes Building instead. With a harsh cover of $25 bucks, (why so much?) this was a party that clearly meant the only people there were guest-listed.

The scene was quieter than expected. There were people but it wasn't a mad house. A nice party with good music, (though not sure on the sound setup...) Fritz Helder opened followed by Tuxedo Mask and Parallels, two acts I didn't know much about but enjoyed.

Something else to think about for next weekend....It was announced this morning that local faves Fritz Helder and The Phantoms (previous coverage here, here, here and here) have signed with Nellie Furtado's new label AND been slotted to close out Fashion Week with a performance at the Burroughes building. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at automatt.net.

Might Nellie make an appearance?
