Slideshow: Greta Constantine Afterparty with Fritz Helder and the Phantoms
Just because the runway was bare didn't didn't mean the party had to end at the Greta Constantine Fall 2009 fashion show at the Courthouse. View our massive collection of afterparty photos (featuring Fritz Helder and the Phantoms) in the slideshow below: Toronto Fashion Week

Fashion Week got underway a few days ahead of itself with a handful of unofficial shows, including one by Toronto's own dynamic duo, Greta Constantine. The city's fashion fans packed The Courthouse on Adelaide, with a few wearing their fave Greta Constantine creations. After a cold, dark winter, it was lovely to see the city throwing sensible woolies and wellies off to reveal sexy stilettos (below-zero temperatures be damned!) and even one dazzling, silky cream jumpsuit cut very, very low (I can't stop talking about it!).
Toronto Fashion Week
The Unofficial Toronto Fashion Week
It's as predictable as snow in April. Every Fashion Week, a host of promoters, club owners and fashion brands put on runway shows and other events that are meant to ride the wave of fashion ecstasy floating around the city. They usually star more mainstream brands (think Calvin Klein instead of Comrags) but their details won't be found on any official Fashion Week calendar or press material. That's because they're unofficial events and, technically, are neither sanctioned nor related to the main attraction. The venues are pretty predictable, and, frankly, aren't places I'd normally go, um, ever. But during Fashion Week I'll make an exception cuz, well, a runway show is a runway show. And while it might be short and anti-climatic, it's usually never dull and sometimes even comes with a free drink ticket.
