Cheri Milaney's clothing isn't really my cup of tea. I know, her clientele is older, but I don't ever see my mother wanting to pick up any of these pieces. That said, her show yesterday under the tents at LG Fashion Week had a great score courtesy of DJ Vaneska. I actually danced a little bit, much to the amusement of those around me.

At the end of each runway show at LG Fashion Week we've tried to head backstage to snag some coveted interviews with the designers. Hey, we're not Fashion Televison, so we usually need to wait our turn (if you know what I mean), but when all is said and done, all of the designers have been gracious enough to give us a little soundbite.

Cheri Milaney's runway show on Tuesday afternoon was a little different from anything else at Fashion Week so far. Instead of your typical models, "real women" of all ages, backgrounds, and sizes were chosen to showcase her new lineup.

Admittedly, the show felt a bit out of place at Fashion Week, and afterwards, the reaction in the crowd was mixed. I for one wasn't particularly inspired by the clothes or the show, but I do appreciate Cheri Milaney's choice to swim against the tide and reach out to a broader audience at Fashion Week.
