NADA Backstage

Backstage before the NADA runway show at LG Fashion Week was a flurry of activity, from hair crimping, teasing and an extreme touch of eyeliner as the L'Oreal crew transformed these women into runway models. Big hair seemed to be all the rage as NADA geared up for yet another stunning show. Here's my photoset from the action backstage. Comments (0)









For Elk's, Lucian Matis' fashion show was bad news. For everyone else it was amazing! The most worked hair you've ever seen! Teased and woven around antlers with long, dark elegant gowns. Lucian has an eye for good things (just look at his custom distressed jeans.)
While my personal opinion on Ed Hardy stuff isn't exceptionally high, there is a sort of indulgent thrill to photograph their stuff backstage. Something about way-too beefy dudes and stupid thin, hot babes that well, is kinda fun.
Carlton Brown's energy is incredible. Maybe he stores it all in that trademark mole of his? He was in full control of every detail, running back and forth, ruffling hair, primping shirts; starting buttons then having his dressers finish doing the rest up. Backstage with his show was intense.
