This Week in Theatre: April 3 - 10

Posted by Jack / April 3, 2007

Here are three options for theatre this week. One is 'high art', the other 'big buck art' and the third 'future prospect art'. I won't say which is which. You can be the judge.

Revisited - 2b theatre company's interesting piece that breaks the fourth wall and then some. A man tells stories while sitting at a table with the audience. Runs to Apr 19 at the New World Theatre Festival .

Edward Scissorhands - For curiosity's sake alone. A dance version of the movie with no words. Humingbird Centre. Runs to Apr 7.

Ontario Sears Drama Festival - Want to know how high school kids get creative? These school regional finals show the best of theatre in high schools in a competative but fun festival. Runs to Apr 14 at Hart House Theatre.

I'll be posting a review of Edward Scissorhands on Thursday, and one of Revisited next Thursday.

Still crazy busy times in theatre in Toronto, which is pretty exciting!
