Here's this weeks top choices for theatre in Toronto. A nice mix of visual and intellectual, all highly entertaining and informative.

Tempting Providence - The story of a British nurse's visit to post war Canada and her experiences. Runs to Apr 22 at the Factory Theatre

Crook Back Dicky - A Fringe hit returns. Written by Dean Gabourie and Adrian Griffin. The tale of Shakepeare's Richard the Third told in 1970's puppet punk style. Runs to Apr 15. At the Theatre Centre

Will the real J.T. Leroy please stand up? - written and directed by Sky Gilbert
Runs until April 22nd. Inspired by the real life J.T. LeRoy literary hoax that duped literary critics and sparked debates on the issues of the nature of gender, truth and art. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre

Shame is Right - This sketch troupe does something most sketch comedy groups don't do. They don't go for the funny. They attack it. It's quite a treat. Check them out if you have a chance.Runs from the 11th to the 14th at the Diesel Playhouse
