This Week in Theatre: March 27 - April 2

20070327_twit.jpgThe theme in theatre this week? Kick back and have fun! The weather has finally broken and there are a few great shows coming up that you can really just sit back and chill out to.

24U2C - What happens when dramatic and comedic actors come together to create a one week theatrical event that includes 2 short one act plays and musical interludes? Something funny and entertaining that inches in moments of depths and despair. A hilarious night out that I personally guarantee you will enjoy. Want to know why? Come and you'll find out. Runs to April 1st at the Diesel Playhouse Theatre and brought to you by Bound To Create Theatre and Good Company Theatre .

Rocky Horror Picture Show - Canstage's newest production of the cult classic will be sure to keep you out of your seats (if only to see over the sea of wild fans who are no doubt dressed to the heel.. uh I mean hilt). Costumes are cool to wear just leave the props at home. Runs until April 21st.

Paprika Theatre Festival - The festival of playwrights under 21 is a really good way to see how much the 'kids' have grown up these days. It's Paprika Festival time again until Mar 25 at Tarragon Theatre.

For Rocky Horror, props are actually encouraged, just nothing wet and nothing that would be thrown.

Canstage has posted a little do's and don't guide:
