Spacing Radio Podcast Launches

Posted by Jerrold Litwinenko / March 2, 2009

spacing radio podcastPublic space advocates take note: Spacing has made a foray into the world of podcasting!

Spacing Radio is now live with their pilot episode, and the host is none other than talented Toronto journalist David Michael Lamb (better known as CBC Toronto's City Hall and politics reporter).

In the first episode, Spacing talks to former London, UK mayor Ken Livingston about road congestion and tolls (something that has been a contentious debate here recently), and the voices of everyday Torontonians are also featured.

Each episode will also feature a local Toronto musician or band - the first being a rather a propos choice - The Bicycles. Bob Wiseman created the show's intro.

Episodes will be delivered every two weeks, and will be available on iTunes and on the Spacing web site.

This is awesome. Those guys at Spacing never cease to amaze. When people talk about the success of Toronto's creative industries, Spacing has got to be one of the best examples.
