Labour Day Fireworks in Toronto 2012
Labour Day fireworks in Toronto for 2012 are something of a rarity. I know you've all been frantically Googling, hoping to uncover some massive display of pyrotechnics, but it's slim pickings.
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Canada's Wonderland on Sunday evening around 10 p.m., you'll be treated to a 15-20 minute display, but there's nothing at ol' faithful Ashbridges' Bay.
Or, you can always just create your very own customized display--while observing proper fire safety and precautions, of course.
The fact is that Labour Day is a day not typically celebrated with fireworks--that's reserved for Victoria Day and the like. But, the fact also, is that that Labour Day marks the end of summer (allegedly), and should rightly be commemorated in proper fashion. I'm thinking large-scale aerial displays of firepower by the water, over an appropriate picnic of summer-fresh produce. Where in Toronto would you like to see some fireworks?
