Dig Your Own Grave
I am so very miffed that I missed the Toronto Monster Jam over the weekend. My fiance went to one once in Montreal, and said it was gnarly. Thankfully, some of the cooler moments from the event can be found on the net, including this "freestyle" by the venerable Grave Digger (this truck has been around since I was like 4 years old!).
Who went to this thing, and how awesome was it? Come on, now's your chance to make me seriously jealous... I am not missing another one of these events!

........Truth be told - I went because my six year old son loves this scene and I want to be the mom who took him to this sort of event - Good Memories! Surprise! Who knew I would love it, too? The exitement, the noise, the lights, the other families in the crowd, the trucks and the characters who drive them... I took my son, another little boy and a girl friend of mine. We all had a blast and my friend bought me a Gravedigger shirt which I will wear proudly. I'd totally go again next year - provided my son still loves the scene - and we may even end up with a larger group - I know my husband would like to go next time! Hot Wheels Monster Jam 2008 - here we come!
