If you've been captivated by the Segway ever since its presence first caused techno-geeks to salivate (or from the moment you saw Niles boastfully riding one on Frasier), here's your chance to get a piece of the action.

At the Segway Dealer Store & Tour, located in Distillery District, you can try out something that you will never be able to afford to own. For just $10, you can get a "quick orientation and ride," and for a fleeting moment, feel cooler than all your friends.

A quick taste not enough? To become a master of the height of transportation technology, $25 will buy you a "half-hour training and certification." Or for $59, you can add on a one-hour tour of the Distillery, all while enjoying the thrill of your cute and oh-so-nifty Segway.

Call 1-866-405-TOUR (8687) for reservations or scoot on over to 55 Mill Street to get your ride on.

haha. i was in seattle a couple summers ago and some friends and i went to a local segway rental place that offererd a 'couples special'.

2 segways, 1 hour and 2 ice cream cones. so there ended up being 10 dudes rolling hard with ice creams and helmets.

there is nothing scarier than a posse of seggers rolling at you all hopped up on sugar. extreme segging at it's finest.

I'm not convinced on Segways. They are still so weird looking. As we Canadians get fatter, shouldn't we be shooting for something that we at least burn a few calories doing...something...hmmm...like...hmmm...say....hmmm...how about bicycling (or skateboarding, or rollerblading...)!

Hit my link for my own tale of Segways from a Marketer's perspective.
