Get a new semi-stolen bike from T.O. police!

I log onto Ebay today to look for cheap film and before I can even start my search I see a big feature banner for the Toronto Police Services Auction. I'm intrigued. I click.

It seems that the Toronto Police have gone online with their "confiscated" and "found" goods auctions. Now you can bargain surf through a series of items from bikes and sporting gear to even a few home/car stereo-related items. What a surprise.

And when your friends ask if you "got this out of some guy's trunk" you can happily reply that it was totally legal - the police found it for you.

I tried to buy a bike this way two years ago already, but the bids went too high :-(

Check out the "Black & Decker Steamworks wallpaper stripper"!

Who in right mind steals a wallpaper stripper?
