Timmie Doggie Outfitters is what happens when two graphic designers open a dog boutique. With two Timmie-the-Dog inspired locations on West Queen West and in Leslieville (pictured), Timmie's offers top-notch grooming and a great selection of food, toys and other products for your inspirational four-legged friend. Grooming is by appointment only and offered through most of the week, so call ahead.

They're all heart when it comes to dogs and it shows at Timmie's.
He is wonderful with dogs and creates magic with a pair of scissors in his hands.

My name is Tiffany and I am the newest dog groomer with Timmie Doggie Outfitters. I thought this might be a good way for me to introduce myself.
I am formally a mental health and disabilities youth worker. I spent seven years in this field before making the decision to begin my work with dogs. I have volunteered and worked for many animal welfare groups in previous years, and always found having the opportunity to work with dogs extremely rewarding.
Two years ago I decided to enroll in a professional dog grooming program for fun. In my off hours of work I began volunteering at a very posh grooming salon. In less than a year I was offered a full time position as a professional groomer.
I began working with Paul at the Queen East location of Timmie Doggie Outfitters in March of this year. I greatly enjoy my work with all dogs that come to the store. I love the opportunity it has presented for me to be creative.
I would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have regarding the care of their pet. I have two dogs of my own (a four year old yorkie mix and a five month old bernese mountain dog) and empathize with how much people love their pets and want to see them treated gently.

My wife asked him why he is calling the police since he was paid and we were the one with the complaint? He just went on rambling and yelling. We were SHOCKED to say the least. First he said to wait there for the police but then he kicked us and the dog out in the scorching 40 C degrees weather to wait there.
We have never been insulted like that in our lives. It is hard to believe what people would do for $100!!! I have pictures of the grooming they did, horribly uneven.

Maral and her husband comes in with their dog Hemingway to get their dog groomed. We have a detailed conversation on what she wanted done to her dog. And we agreed on the style that Tiffany was going to provide.
We call Maral after we had completed the groom. Hemingway looked fantastic! Her husband comes in and thanks Tiffany for such a great job. 2 min later, Maral walks in very upset with her husband. She doen't like the cut, apparently because the feathers were too short on the dogs legs. Then her husband turned on us and told us how bad the groom was,... I was blown away at him and his comment after he left thanking us so much. So I tell him, but you told us how you loved the groom? He replies infront his wife that he never told us that,...
I tell Maral that we are sorry that we didn't meet her expectations and we will work towards a groom that she'd like in the future. And we would have given her a discount on a perfectly beautiful groom that Tiffany had performed. But she didn't want that,...
She wanted a free groom. At first I was going to give her back the moneys,... but I decided that it's not fair for Tiffany, our groomer. Tiffany worked so hard and made Hemingway beautiful. And because Mural didn't like a small detail,... and she goes on to complain how the dog was horribly uneven. I have never seen a dog leave that is uneven at my shop. And if the haircut was uneven, we would have taken their dog back and fixed it. If her dogs ears were not cleaned by mistake, we would have re-cleaned it. But that was not the case. Maral is making things up to taint our business.
I love all their unique products they carry and also the owner is super friendly and informative. We were very happy with the grooming service as well.
As a side note.... Spawboutique is aweful, not the groomers but the owner. She is more interested in being on TV and running dogs in and out like they are on a convayer belt. They do up to 30 dogs a day and its just to make a buck. She treats her employee's like slaves and pays them well under the average expecting them to do over 10 dogs and work 12-14 hrs a day. Again, I've never worked there but have talked to numerous ex employee's of Eve's. Ever wonder why you only see the girl at the front or Eve herself? It's all about the appearences and the man behind the curtain. Upstairs in a whole different story.
In closing I suggest BEFORE you get a dog, know what it takes to maintain thier coats and if they need regular grooming find someone in your area that a friend/nieghnour/family member has referred. Someone you like and can communicate well with.
