Top Taste
Top Taste was the original location of Jamaican patty giant Michidean and is still a Jamaican takeout and catering spot on Dovercourt. It of course still sells Michidean patties baked on the premises (but made in Markham) in addition to staples like oxtail and goat curry with rice and peas. On Fridays, they have Chinese-influenced specials like chop suey and choy fan. You can frequently see old Jamaican men eating here and speaking with staff in Jamaican patois.
