This restaurant used to be the Excellent Cantonese House, and I've been going there for about 17 years. After someone was murdered there a few years ago, it closed its doors for many months, before reopening as Taste Garden, with a new owner and new chef, but with several of the previous waiters remaining.

The quality of the food isn't quite as good as it used to be, and the restaurant is no longer open for lunchtime. This is a shame, because for $5.00, you could get a big entree served on rice or noodles, plus a small cup of hot & sour soup, a spring roll, and all the tea you could drink.

The restaurant is now open from 4:00 p.m. until about 5 a.m.

They have a huge variety of dishes, including special dinner deals for various-sized groups. I especially enjoy their Egg Drop Mushroom Soup and their Beef Tenderloin Chinese Style.

Prices are fairly reasonable, and they do offer delivery.
