I use to enjoy this place, but made a recent visit and was ashamed by the service, ambiance and quality of food.
We arrived later in the evening and every table had dirty napkins on it and food. We were starved and craving sushi so decided to overlook, hoping the waitress just become overloaded and hadn't had a moment to stop. We ordered a few rolls and ngiri. It was awful. I hadn't had that bad of sushi since VIP Sushi in Richmond Hill which is another story all in itself. There was no fish in the rolls or flavor. It was composed of mainly rice, dried out sea weed, a few shreds of vegetables and the chewiest grainy fish I've ever tasted. We tried to find creative ways to hide or eat the sushi due to the strict, $1.50/for unfinished pc, policy. We couldn't do it and just lived up to the consequences. Sorry Sushi Eaton I don't mean to be tough, but if you choose to serve AYCES, you need to find some way of still offering edible options.
I will for sure go back, as the food was great, but it will be on a night where I don't mind spending 2-3 hours at the restaurant.
