Sushi Delight

Sushi DelightSushi Delight is a popular sushi restaurant on the Danforth that hasn't updated their web site in a while. Check out the coupon on their home page that expired back in 2006! Anyway, besides that, the sushi here is good for the price. Most sushi, sashimi and maki combos are between $12 and $18.

this is quite honestly some of the worst sushi i have ever tasted. soggy and stale. it is actually inedible. you would do better to buy a plastic box of california rolls at the nearby loblaws.

i have no idea why this place is so popular.

I eat here often whenever I am in the Danforth neighbourhood and I happen to like the food. The service could stand to be improved and they can maybe get servers that speak better English, but 9 out of 10 times the food has been satisfying and affordable.

When somebody says you can get better at Loblaws or Sobeys on this site . . . it's never true. Never.

I've been here about a dozen times, and it's always been good. They have an annoying habit of bringing everyone's dishes at different times, but the sushi has always been very good for the price.

Not horrible, but not my first choice for sushi. I usually go here if other restaurants are closed. My partner and I usually get the dinner for two B. The food is ok at best, nothing sensational. I always find their chicken teriakyi to be awful. I don't know what parts of the chicken they use but it's all fatty and tasteless. Their beef ribs are always too well done and have lots of fat attached to it. The sushi and sashimi are pretty good, nothing sensational. Honestly the best part is the miso soup and that's pretty much the same everywhere.

I also find that they bring you all the food pretty much at once, no matter if you are done eating or have room on the table. They just pile it on the tiny little square of a table they give you. I even asked them if they could bring out the courses more slowly but that was ignored. I don't know if I'll go back here and if I do, I'll just stick to a bento box or something.

The "Salmon Loveboat" is always delicious, and such good value. Too bad the service is sometimes careless.
