Sorn Thai

Posted by Staff / Listed on May 4, 2011 / review policy

Sorn Thai TorontoSorn Thai offers decent Thai for the young and eligible. Skip the no-frills decor at Sorn Thai like a bad flash intro and order what some claim to be the tastiest pad thai north of Bloor to go instead.

So happy this made the list.
This place has the best Pad Thai in the city, delicious lemongrass soup and everything else. The servers are so sweet.
But no one knows about it! It's worth going up to Eglinton.

I've been going to Sorn Thai for years and I am in love with their Pad Thai! It's still one of the best pad thais I've eaten in Toronto. I always make sure to order Cashew Chicken here too.

You should probably revise this review or at least revisit this restaurant. I went to the restaurant just two days ago and the food was terrible. Especially the well reviewed Pad Thi. Bland and overcooked. Very weird Mango Salad , which contained chicken.

Yes the decort is bad and update but you can find the BEST Pai Thai of Toronto so tasty and fresh and the Mango salad is the best and don't forget to order the sea food rice. Is always pack in special for dinner and lunch (weekends) Also great price Go and try!

Been going to Sorn Thai for years and it's my family's favourite in the city! The cashew eggplant dish is just... so good. Pad Thai, Mango Salad, and cold rolls on LOCK. Love them!

I just recently discovered Sorn Thai and can attest to the exceptionally high quality of its Green Chicken Curry and Thai Beef Salad. These two dishes when eaten together give me the gastronomical equivalent of multiple orgasms !!!!

I ate here for the first time a while ago and it was some kind of weird fake Thai food for white people. Everything was too sweet and otherwise totally bland. This is probably on purpose because of the area and I wish the people who run the place all success but still...gross. If you actually know what Thai food is supposed to taste like then do not go here.
