Rodeo Brazilian SteakhouseRodeo Brazilian Steakhouse on the Danforth is a re-brand of the Red Violin restaurant. The concept is still the same - all you can eat meat, meat and more meat for $50.

Scammed by owner Susie! Do not eat here! Just had our company Christmas dinner event there. It was agreed upon that soft drinks were included in the price of our package. At the end of the night, Susie denied having said that despite that fact that we produced the email that she wrote. Attempted to charge us an additional $200 above our quoted price!! Not only was the service poor, the amount of food lacking, we were also yelled at by the owner. Not the greatest experience.

Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse

Manager needs take a course in Customer Service 101. Worst restaurant experience ever!!!! First time at Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse - and definitely my last! Horrible customer service. Although we had a reservation for 830pm we still had to wait 25 minutes to be seated and was treated very poorly. We were a party of four and a party of 3 that complained that the wait was so long was seated before us. There reservation was for 845pm. When we walked in to be finally seated there were at least 5 tables of 4 seating empty. Got to our table and ordered first round of drinks - great! When we ordered our second round of drinks, my friend found a piece of broken glass in her drink. The manager asked if she was cut, when my friend said no, the manager asked "so what do you want me to do?" When we suggested my friend's meal should be complementary, she said "I could do that", but she didn't! Instead she disappeared when we got the bill and saw that we were charged the full fee including 15% gratuity. There were children in the restaurant who had drinks with ice. It could have been one of them that got the piece of glass in their drink. I wonder if she would have been so flippant. I surely won't be taking any of my children their to find out. The food was okay, the service was horrible! The food took long to come to our table. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Spend your money where you're treated like a valued customer! There are many great restaurants in TO, and this is NOT one of them.

Ok. I disagree with the comments above. Since I make trips to Toronto, I go to Rodeo for my brazilian barbecue fix when I am in town. I like the servers that are more like chefs than waiters. You can get two or three of them in a talk at your table about the meats .

Several of my students used to work here. The management does not pay out tips to the staff. The servers and kitchen staff receive minimum wage and NONE of the tips. All the tips are collected and shared amongst the hosts who simply seat the customers at tables. Please do not support this kind of practice and let others know that this immoral style of management takes place at this restaurant.

Fifty minutes and still waiting for a table that's supposedly finishing up. Time bettet spent elsewhere.

for the other commenters say the pay is bad i say "then don't work there. ".

I have eaten here a few times, friends of mine have dined there, and there were no complaints. Service was good, the food is darn good. Ex. Fresh Kale/orange salad was a nice surprise opener.

But i would say go on week night and save $10. $50 is understandable but is too much for me. The food is not worth $50 but you pay extra for the variety.

This was once upon a time a great restaurant. Stay away, it is not worth your money. Not typical Brazilian food and far away from a Brazilian churrascaria. They must have changed management, or something but this is not what used to be.
They advertise entertainment, there was none,
They advertise Brazilian food, absolutely not.
Very expensive for what you are served.
