Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse
Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse on the Danforth is a re-brand of the Red Violin restaurant. The concept is still the same - all you can eat meat, meat and more meat for $50.

Manager needs take a course in Customer Service 101. Worst restaurant experience ever!!!! First time at Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse - and definitely my last! Horrible customer service. Although we had a reservation for 830pm we still had to wait 25 minutes to be seated and was treated very poorly. We were a party of four and a party of 3 that complained that the wait was so long was seated before us. There reservation was for 845pm. When we walked in to be finally seated there were at least 5 tables of 4 seating empty. Got to our table and ordered first round of drinks - great! When we ordered our second round of drinks, my friend found a piece of broken glass in her drink. The manager asked if she was cut, when my friend said no, the manager asked "so what do you want me to do?" When we suggested my friend's meal should be complementary, she said "I could do that", but she didn't! Instead she disappeared when we got the bill and saw that we were charged the full fee including 15% gratuity. There were children in the restaurant who had drinks with ice. It could have been one of them that got the piece of glass in their drink. I wonder if she would have been so flippant. I surely won't be taking any of my children their to find out. The food was okay, the service was horrible! The food took long to come to our table. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Spend your money where you're treated like a valued customer! There are many great restaurants in TO, and this is NOT one of them.
Several of my students used to work here. The management does not pay out tips to the staff. The servers and kitchen staff receive minimum wage and NONE of the tips. All the tips are collected and shared amongst the hosts who simply seat the customers at tables. Please do not support this kind of practice and let others know that this immoral style of management takes place at this restaurant.
Never eating there again.
