Quik Sushi

Quik SushiWhen I'm in the St. Lawrence Market around lunchtime, I'll usually pick up some fruit, an avocado and some snacks from Domino Foods. But every once in a while, I'll get lured by the crowds and the sweet taste of tempura at Quik Sushi on the lower level.

Quik Sushi specializes in fresh from the frier vegetable and shrimp tempura. I usally opt for the three piece shrimp and four piece veggie combo (seen above) for $5.99. It's not the most filling lunch, but what it lacks in substance it delivers in taste. Paired with some fruit from upstairs it comes closer to making a complete meal.

Beyond tempura, Quik Sushi serves up other standard Japanese fair including a variety of tasty sushi and maki as well as a standard quick-service miso soup.

Quik Sushi is best for take-out, or to eat on premises in the lower level or tables outside the St. Lawrence Market.

That looks so good! I haven't had lunch yet so that picture really caught my eye. I'll make sure to try some this week.
