Queen PitaQueen Pita serves up some of the best falafel in the city. They also make juicy shawarma, baklava and fish wrap.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The owner and his son are extremly nice. The food is amazing. I have gotten Falafel's all over Toronto and this byfar is the best!!!!!!!!!!

After reading the above review, I ran down for some falafels. I must say, they were fantastic. You could feel the love. It's so great to see a father and son working side by side and they were both very, very nice. We will definitely go back.

My husband and I used to lunch at Alex's Falafel on Queen St. E. on Tuesdays. When it recently closed, we thought we would have to travel to the other side of town for a good Mediterranean lunch, but after doing a little research, I came across this review and many others and we decided to give Queen Pita a try. We just got back and it was EXCELLENT. We had the chicken shawarma, the falafel on pita, the tabouleh salad and the baba ghanouj. All made with fresh ingredients, prepared with love and served by owners Gus and Ali, both lovely men who know their food. Needless to say, Queen Pita will be our new destination for Tuesday lunches!
