Pho NgonPho Ngon doesn't do much to distinguish itself in the vast landscape of Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto. Nevertheless, they do have a kitchen so if Pho Rex and other options in Koreatown don't suffice there's always this place.

I love this place, this is probably one of the best hot and sour soups I've ever had and their spring rolls are intense. So, I do understand that they may not pop out as an obvious choice but the food is always bang on and tastes great!!

The staff here are incredibly nice. They work hard and really know how to treat their customers. I come here instead of pho rex especially on fri or sat, they open till 4am! beats going to china town when I live minutes away. I always order the vermicilli, its delicious!

I love the rear beef noddle soup (item #704 on menu) and fresh rice paper shrimp rolls (item #102 on menu). Pho Ngon have the best beef soup in Toronto. I found out from the owner, they took 20 pounds of beef bones boiled for over 8 hours to make the soup stock. This is the reason after the meal, I never feel thirsty. Other restaurant used MSG or artificial beef flavor.
The menu selection is limited, but I love simple and delicious meals at affordable price. I come here at least twice a week for lunch. Ordered both items listed above costs $9.98. For people like spicy food, Pho Ngon have good selection to suit your taste.
