Owl of Minerva (Yonge Street)

Owl of MinervaOwl of Minerva has multiple locations in Toronto including this one on Yonge Street. Although it's on the menu of every other restaurant on this list, when I specifically crave gamja tang I always instinctively think of the Owl. Why? Because there's pork bone soup, and then there's pork bone soup at 3 a.m after a heady night on the town. It's the same, but better, and it tends to create a bias. Places that are open 24-hours a day tend to attract loyal followings and the Owl is no different.

One of my favourite spots !!! Food is always good and it's pretty cheap.... The Korean BBQ at the yonge and finch location during the summer is amazing !!!

Top notch Korean food!! I'm Canadian, born and raised. I really couldn't tell you what authentic is.. What I can tell you, is that after I came into dine on a whim, I've been back 4 separate times within a month. It's kinda makes me feel like I'm at home. It's a little busy, not so formal, a little noisy, but real cozy with great service and loads of cheap delicious food. The Owl is #1 for me!
