Very good food and reasonably priced. We go there all the time and it's always the same quality. Closets to "home" if you're homesick

My first experience at Shomal was a great one. A poor first impression was made while we seemed to wait foreever to have a seat offered for our larger group despite the fact that a little creativity would have conferred a seating arrangement in a much shorter time. This was more than made up for by the cheerful decor, pleasant atomosphere provided by the polite waiting staff and the live music. The food was was my outing for Persian food and I have to say I was unimpressed by my first encounter. Not so, for Shomal. The food there was a delightful surprise for any meat lover to be sure.Kepp in mind when looking for the restaurant; It is set back in the strip mall and the sign only says "North" in English and "Shomal" in Farsi. I was looking for a restaurant called "Shomal" and with my English-only eyes could not find it anywhere! : )
