New SpiceLand RestaurantNew SpiceLand Restaurant is a takeout Indian restaurant located right beside the large SpiceLand supermarket in the Indian-centric plaza on Markham and Steeles. This place offers a large cornucopia of Indian favourites, ranging from kothur roti to freshly made murtabaks (think of it like an Indian crepe-pancake). It is also extremely full during mealtimes, with lineups of people waiting to buy dishes to complement their family mealtimes frequently reaching the front door. It's not quite as fancy as Babu Takeout and Catering, but it's definitely just as popular.

I only buy mutton buriyani from here...it's very oily but I'm not fat, so I don't need to worry...yet. The veggie meals on Tuesday are tasty and cheap, $5.
